Your blog is well done and accurate! Many of our Kimkins members have Lapband or other gastric weight loss surgery. Since we are a low fat low carb diet we're identical to the diet prescribed by their surgeons. When you mix in the support from community forums and quick low fat low carb recipes that are easy for Lapband patients to eat after surgery, they've found Kimkins an excellent tool to continue their speedy weight loss.

Our protein recommendations are 60-80 grams for women and 70-100 grams for men. Serious weight lifters or those working in muscle intensive occupations may need more.

After surgery beef and other proteins can be difficult to chew adequately and this is where the Kimkins Recipe Box comes in handy!

Excellent post, thanks for writing!
